Thank you for offering to create for one of my requests!

I’ve given some vague ideas for each, but they’re meant for inspiration, not obligation. If you have an idea that you’re excited about for one of my requests that doesn’t match my suggestions, go for it (as long as it doesn’t involve any of my DNWs, of course)!

I’m good with M-rated violence, and M or E-rated sexual content. Explorations of mental illness are okay, as long as it’s tagged. 

Treats are very welcome! All my requests are fanfiction only, but I am good with either fanfiction or fanart for treats. 

General Likes: hurt/comfort (physical or emotional), angst (with or without a happy ending), missing scenes from canon, relationship studies, explorations of the emotional consequences of canon events, soft moments, explorations of trauma, mutual pining or getting together or established relationship, worldbuilding, bedsharing (by choice, only one bed), explorations of queer sexuality/gender 

General DNWs: non-canon permanent character death of canon characters (killing off OCs or exploring canon character deaths is perfectly fine!), on the page suicide attempt, graphic violence, gore, mundane/“no magic” AUs, infidelity, pwp, rape/noncon/dubcon, D/s dynamics, heavy kink/bdsm in general, non-canon incest (first cousin or closer, obviously nearly everyone in Toby is technically related somehow) 


Requests

Karen Brown & The Luidaeg: I’d love to see fic exploring their mentorship dynamic! Feel free to set it anywhere from the early days when Karen barely knows the Luidaeg, but has been taken under her wing, to the present when the Luidaeg knows that Karen is a child of Titania.

How does Karen feel about training with the sea witch? Do those feelings change over time? What is it like for her to publicly be known as an oneiromancer & someone under the Luidaeg’s protection? How does the Luidaeg feel about mentoring a Seer? How does knowing she’s Titania’s daughter change those feelings? 

Feel free to include other canon characters (especially other Browns) as long as the focus is on this dynamic! 

Cassandra Brown & Captain Pete: I’m really interested in Pete interacting with her newly revealed siblings after Titania’s curse, and Pete & Cassandra is particularly interesting to me because they already briefly met at the Convocation of Consequences.

What is it like to learn that the changeling you met once is actually a fellow Firstborn (and your mother tried to kill her & did kill her sister)? What is it like to discover you have more siblings (older siblings! not all of whom suck!) so soon after losing your little sister? 

October “Toby” Daye/Elizabeth Ryan: I’d love any and all young Toby/Liz AUs! This ship was originally pitched by ElisWish in the server, and I wrote a fic for it last year, but your fic does not have to follow the existing fics/ideas. (It also can, if you want it to!)

Fundamentally: what if Toby and Liz met back in the 70s when they were both young and restless, both existing on the margins of Faerie, and they fell for each other? (The fic also doesn’t have to be set in the 70s, if you want to explore the later consequences of Toby/Liz being a thing!) 

Original Selkie/Selkiekin Characters: I am so interested in Selkie culture and communities; this is an open call to share stories about any Selkie and/or Selkiekin OCs you have!

Feel free to write about characters at any point in time, from the original Selkies through the Convocation. (Writing about after they become Roane is also cool as part of the story, but I’d prefer the focus be pre-Convocation.) 

Given the canon about the Selkies and Selkie communities, dark themes and subject matter (death, grief, child murder, mental illness, etc.) are fine to write about, as long as they’re warned for. And please, no on-the-page suicide (references or off-screen are fine, as long as it’s tagged).  

Gillian Daye Marks & Firtha: I love the scenes we got with them in Chide the Waves—how even as Gillian is still working through lots of messy, complicated feelings towards Toby and Faerie itself, she clearly has a close bond with Firtha.

And “person as a haunted house” is a concept I’m very 👀 about! What is it like to have a long dead woman in the back of your mind at all times? What is it like to only exist through your connection to someone who’s still alive?

There’s a lot of warmth and affection in this relationship, but also the inherent tragedy of Firtha being dead and slowly fading from Gillian, so both angsty fics and lighthearted fics are welcome! 

The Luidaeg & Diva Ryan: I have a lot of feelings about how Diva saw Annie as a mother figure and even wished sometimes that Annie would take her away. I would love any exploration of their relationship—what is it like for the Luidaeg to have a pseudo-parental relationship to one of the Roane, after years of avoiding them? What is it like for Diva to have that bond to someone she thinks is a fellow Roane changeling…and then find out that was a lie?

Feel free to set a fic at anytime in Diva’s life, including after she finds out the truth about Annie, if that’s something you want to explore! 

Gillian Daye Marks/Diva Ryan: I am so delighted that we got to see them start to build a friendship in Chide the Waves (working through issues! opening up about messy family feelings!) And that even when she's insisting they aren't friends, Gillian still thinks Diva is fun to talk to and beautiful.

I would love to read a fic about what happens next when they're stuck together in the Undersea for months. How could that spark of friendship develop into feelings?

Getting together fics are welcome, but “getting together” is optional—a focus on discovering feelings is also cool! 

October “Toby” Daye & The Luidaeg: I love the relationship they build over the course of the series, how they both start out lonely and reluctant to connect with others because of the scars they each carry, how Toby grows up believing a lot of lies about her and has to unlearn them, how they become truly family. Any fic about them would be wonderful—from the first days of the Luidaeg calling Toby after R&R and Toby starting to come visit, to how they're coping after Titania's curse. 

(AUs are also welcome, especially if you want to explore an AU where the Luidaeg did steal Toby as a kid and raise her.)

I’ve given some vague ideas for each, but they’re meant for inspiration, not obligation.
